Situated south west of Stone and bordering West Mercia, these neighbourhoods such as Church Eaton, Gnosall, Seighford and Woodseavesare almost exclusively rural. They include a number of closely linked and other picturesque village communities such as Bradley, Derrington, Haughton, Woodseaves, Great Bridgford, Creswell and outlying villages.

The most densely populated village is Gnosall which has a number of pubs and small shops. Horse riding, cycling, fishing and walking are the most popular leisure activities, although the busy towns of Stafford and Newport are only a short drive away.
